Tamako was a teacher, painter and printmaker. Her artwork includes more than thirty woodblock prints and lithographs many of which combine flowers and Mount Fuji. Thirty-four examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Tamako drew objects in a modern, creative way. Their shapes were partly distorted and their colors were often brighter and bolder than those of their counterparts in the real world.
